A Construction Cost Report is the most comprehensive report we prepare. It is an overview of your project's financial landscape by providing detailed insights into every cost component relating to each trade.

Quantities and Costs
Different governing bodies have varying requirements for reports needed to progress your development. Engaging a Quantity Surveyor (QS) is often necessary.
We can assist with a range of reports tailored to your project. Depending on the type, scale, and value of your development, you may need one report or several.

Currently, many developments going through a DA process require a Cost Summary prepared by a registered person/s. Different local councils set different construction cost thresholds.
Having worked alongside a large number of local councils, you can rely on us to ensure a smooth and informed process.

As of 4 March 2024, the NSW Government introduced the Estimated Development Cost which supersedes 'Cost of Development' and 'Capital Investment Value'. These EDC’s can ONLY be prepared by Registered Members of the AIQS.
With a CQS in our team, we can assist with preparing these reports for all development types including State Significant Development (SSD) and State Significant Infrastructure (SSI).

From 1 October 2023, the NSW government requires all new residential and all non-residential developments to report on embodied emissions under the Sustainable Buildings State Environmental Planning Policy (SB SEPP).
As registered quantity surveyors, we can assist with completing the NABERS Embodied Emissions Materials Form to comply with legislative requirements.
